 Generative Coaching Approach

  Presenter:  Vince Eugenio; PhD, PCC

  Title:  SR Manager L&D Distribution

  Organization:  Harbor Freight Tools

Generative coaching can have a significant impact on an organization's culture, the ability to improve relationships, and build trust with associates. In this webinar, we will cover how generative coaching can impact organizational culture:

* Promotes a culture of learning and development. Generative coaching can help employees to identify their strengths and weaknesses, set goals, and develop plans to achieve those goals.

* Fosters innovation and creativity. Generative coaching can help employees to think outside the box and come up with new ideas.

* Builds trust and respect. Generative coaching can help managers to build stronger relationships with their associates. By demonstrating that they are invested in their employees' development and success, managers can build trust and respect, which can lead to a more positive and productive work environment.

We will also cover how generative coaching can help managers to improve relationships and build trust with associates:

* Provides personalized coaching. Managers can tailor their coaching to the individual needs of each employee. This means that employees are more likely to feel supported and understood, which can lead to stronger relationships with their managers.

* Creates a safe space for dialogue. Managers can create a safe space where employees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. This can help to build trust between employees and their managers.

* Focuses on development. Managers can help employees to develop their skills and abilities. This shows employees that their managers are invested in their success, which can lead to stronger relationships.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the impact on associate engagement through generative coaching techniques.

2. Understand what is generative coaching and how to apply it.

3. Understand how to have a generative coaching conversation.
