Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve your Chapter Website Experience.

Please be patient as we create

  an improved member experience!

ATD Smoky Mountain chapter programs are pre-approved by   the ATD Certification Institute forcontinuing education credits towards recertification by Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credential holders.

Smoky Mountain Chapter has also gained ATD Approval to provide CEU's for Learning  Events, retroactive to January 2020.  If you need a Certificate of Attendance for previous 2020 Learning Events, please send request email with date of event to:

As of March 17, 2020, The Smoky Mountain Chapter membership is now available through the online ATD Store. By creating a one-stop-shop for those customers interested in purchasing chapter and ATD membership, the availability of chapter membership on the ATD Store will allow customers to align chapter and ATD membership end dates.

As part of this process, our member roster was uploaded to the ATD database so that ATD may identify those who have current chapter memberships. If you did not have an existing single sign-on (SSO) account with ATD, a username will be created and shared with you by email. You may use this username and your selected password to purchase products from the site, register for webinars, and more.

Thank you for helping make our participation in this program successful! Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at:

Who We Are

Our members work in hundreds of organizations of all sizes, in government, as independent consultants, and suppliers. Members invest in their professional development by joining a network that connects workplace learning and performance (WLP) professionals in the area and across the global community.

Connect a community of professionals that champions talent development and improved workplace performance in East Tennessee.

Equip individuals to improve business results through talent development.

Chapter Recognition

We work to maintain our proud tradition of Chapter excellence by maintaining Chapter Affiliation Requirements (CARE). CARE is a set of performance guidelines designed to help chapters deliver consistent benefits to members.

To achieve this standard, rigorous requirements must be met in five key areas: administration, financial, membership, professional development, and communication.
